Support for People Leaving an Organized Religion
We recognize that moving from a lifestyle that includes or is centered on organized religion to one that eschews these ideas can be difficult, to say the least. Many people spend years questioning and researching their decision to leave an organized religion only to feel ostracized by family and friends. You may have many unanswered questions about what it truly means to live a secular lifestyle. Maybe you need help deciding how or when to break the news to family or friends. Maybe you’re not even certain that you’re ready to take the next step yet.
A mentor can be a source of information and support as you explore these issues. We can listen to your concerns and try to answer some of your questions. Our goal is to provide you with a friendly, understanding confidante who can relate to what you’re going through and offer practical advice.
In order to be referred to mentoring services, please Contact Us. Your information will be kept confidential, and future contact with your mentor can be conducted via email, phone conversations, or face-to-face meetings at a public, yet discreet, venue.
